A Rustic Thanksgiving Table

Simple Place Setting with Blue Napkins

With Thanksgiving just a little over a week away, it's time to make grocery lists, prepare the house for guests, and set the table!  When it comes to entertaining during the holidays, I like to keep things simple and beautiful!  For this table setting, cobalt blue napkins act as table runners, blue stripe napkins grace each plate, and vintage silver plate flatware adds a bit of shine to an otherwise rustic tablescape.

How are you planning to set the table this Thanksgiving?

A Backyard Friendsgiving | BSHT Table Setting

Today, I'm joining my dear friend Lindsay from White Buffalo Styling Company for this years BSHT Thanksgiving Tablescapes!  If you're coming over from Blissful Bee, welcome!  Wasn't Amy's tablescape beautiful?!!

With two little ones, I'm currently looking for easy, simple and manageable entertaining ideas.  Making use of items I have on hand made this table setting an easy go-to for the Thanksgiving season and one of the nice things about living in the south, is that outdoor dining extends well into the latter part of the year.  So, for this Friendsgiving table setting we took things outside!

A magnolia leaf acts as a place card and a mini potted thyme serves duel purposes as seasoning and a favor for guests to take home after the evening.

Freshly cut magnolia branches serve as a natural centerpiece with candles down the center.

Be sure to stop back by the tour tomorrow, as Craftberry Bush kicks things off.  I promise she's one NOT to miss!
