Grandma's silver, a flea market score or everyday flatware... Here's our guide for a perfect polish every time!
Wright's Silver Cream
An IRON & TWINE favorite for polishing. A nifty little sponge is included to easily and quickly rid tarnish.
Wear gloves when polishing and divide utensils into batches of six.
IRON & TWINE | How to polish silver
Start with a dime size amount of cream and vigorously scrub utensils until sponge is black from tarnish. Rinse in hot water and start on 2nd coat. Continue until tarnish is gone.
Once finished, wash and rinse in hot water. Use a lint-free cloth to dry and polish your utensils.
To prolong the life of silverplate, only wash it in cycles that exclude stainless steal (it can strip off the silver) and be sure to only use normal scent free detergents (stay clear of lemon additives).
