With Spring & Summer just around the corner, it’s almost time to switch out those sweaters for light and airy warm weather wares! After losing 20lbs, I’m more than excited to add some new pieces that will take me through the warm weather months! But in not wanting to break the bank, I was determined to find affordable, versatile and quality pieces that would hopefully carry me through as I continue on my weight loss journey…you can read more about the start of that journey here. What I found last week was an amazing collection (that finally drops online today!!!) that included a 100% cotton dress that I’m buying in all color ways, some fun accessories, a couple tops and more all under $35 each! So without dragging this out…here’s the pieces I’m looking forward to wearing most!!!
If I had it my way, I would wear nothing more than cotton and linen all summer long. But, finding 100% cotton dresses has proven to become more and more tricky in an affordable price point. That’s why THIS dress is so wonderful!!! It comes in five colors, lilac here…white shown above…and the cotton is thick, making this garment comfortable and an easy wear. No slip needed, even with the white version and the cut of this garment proves to be a flattering choice for most body types! I went with a size Medium, and love it paired with these $10 rattan earrings. Should anything sell out in this collection, I’m betting it will be this cotton dress!
When it comes to accessories, I’m currently trying to step out of my own comfort zone. These pink sunnies were a fun find and in order to be more “on trend”, I thought it time I try the hair barrette trend…what say you? Not too sure if it’s too trendy or sweet for my style, but my five year old approved! So for under $10 this set of two faux pearl clips were worth a try.
Now for another awesome 100% cotton find. This Eyelet Top in lilac is a great piece for now and later. Keep in mind it does run a bit big and I sized down to a small.
Speaking of getting out of my comfort zone, this dress, while not cotton, was a surprising find. At only $25 (currently on promo for $20!!!!) it’s breezy drape makes for a flattering fit, again I bought a size medium, and with multiple color options I feel like it’s a great choice dressed up with heels for the office or sneakers and sunnies for playground playdates. I loved the bright color of this light green version and imagine lots of snow cones and daily adventures happening with the kids in this dress.

Here I go again with this 100% cotton dress! Seriously guys, it’s that good! This rich navy version is a wardrobe stable, and one I’ll be sure to wear in Spring, Summer & Fall!
This tiered sleeveless dress is striving for Spring Break adventures and Summertime Board Walks. Available in multiple color ways, this stripe version was my favorite! Again, while not cotton, it’s made of light weight rayon, and at $30, is a great addition to brighten up the wardrobe!
And while sleeveless tends to intimidate me these days, the cut of this one had me confident and comfortable!
Back to another color way of this dress, this time in coral, at just $25 (currently on promo for $20!!), this dress is another one I bought in multiple hues. And these blush sunnies are my new favorites at under $17! Keep in mind the color is a slightly more bubblegum blush tone than what’s shown on the website.
And to complete these finds, again this 100% cotton Eyelet top, now in white. Again, keep in mind I sized down to a small as it does run big. Paired with rattan earrings and this square pearl barrette (2 for $7!) make this an easy look to pull off for the carpool, errands and lunch with friends!
