21 Weeks Pregnant | Twins

July 10, 2014 Michelle Cannon Smith

This pregnancy is beginning to feel more and more real as these babies grow!  We had a minor pregnancy scare at 20 weeks that sent me rushing into the Dr's.  After a couple hours at my OB, they were concerned that I may be in pre-mature labor, so I was sent to our fetal specialists where it was determined that mom and babies were fine ~  and super thankful that it was nothing more than a false alarm.  I have to give my team of Dr.s a huge kuddos, as they're great during those situation and they don't make you feel silly when it turns out to be nothing.  They also reassured me that when your body and gut is telling you something to not hesitate to call or go into the Dr.s.  While the situation turned out to be nothing, it really makes me appreciate how easy of a pregnancy I've had and how fortunate we are that both babies are growing big and healthy!  I'm looking forward to the weeks ahead, and am getting excited to meet these two (but not anytime soon!)
