I hardly call this a DIY. Just a super simple way to make use of all those foodie shots that are currently taking up space on your Iphone. Years ago I noticed a plethora of urban restaurants giving away postcards to patrons as they left, think part souvenir, part business card [photo below]. I loved them in all their post card glory. Their matte finish gave a some what vintage vibe and reminded me of early 90's print catalogs. Inspired by the look and sentiment, I took snapshots from our own foodie adventures and printed them on our home printer using watercolor paper. Yup, nothing fancy, no app for that. Just a heavy weight watercolor paper and an old home printer. Now go, empty out that Iphone.
