These days, more than ever, I think we’re all looking for creative, entertaining outlets for our kiddos. Hands down the best addition to our space has been our kid's playhouses. All too often I’m asked what age, when’s too early…is it worth it? Would we build them again?
And every time I respond with an overwhelming…build it NOW! And yes, I’d add these to our space over and over again. Think about your childhood…what child doesn’t want a clubhouse…a fort…a space to call their own. Ours have been castles, and ships and fire stations…an ice cream shop, food truck…bakery. It’s decorated for all seasons…Halloween, you betcha! Christmas…give that thing it’s own tree!
The second one was built a year later in partnership with Home Depot (you can find the FREE plans here). And guys, there’s something so special about building something and gifting it to your children! And right now, most Home Depot stores are offering delivery…so, what’s stopping you from ordering the supplies and getting to building…nothing better than a good DIY project to add some joy during this time! I promise you’ll thank me!
