Rosemary & Garlic Infused Olive Oil

September 15, 2015 Michelle Cannon Smith
Rosemary Garlic Infused Olive Oil
3-5 cloves garlic | 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
Needed
airtight container | extra virgin olive oil
3-5 cloves garlic | 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
To Make
Smash garlic with the backside of a wooden spoon. Over medium-high heat warm olive oil, being careful it doesn't boil. Add garlic and cook 3-4 minutes on medium heat. Remove from heat and add 2 sprigs of rosemary. Allow to cool 10 minutes then discard garlic and rosemary. Add 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary to airtight container. Pour in olive oil. *Store in the fridge to prevent botulism and keep for no longer than one week.

The start of fall is the perfect time to get back into the kitchen, but to keep weeknight meals easy and flavorful, use a secret ingredient...infused olive oil.  Pair this Rosemary & Garlic blend with chicken and fish and I promise your family will be asking what's in this?
